{Events} Fashion’s Night Out at DVF Dallas

How was your FNO last night? I had so much fun with beautiful ladies Maryann, Liezel, Marjorie of ModernMomInHeels.com and Delia of FashionFoodHotFlashes.com. As I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, one of our stops for Fashion’s Night Out was DVF Dallas. The moment I learned there was a flip book photo booth at the Diane Von Furstenberg Dallas Boutique, I was sold. And of course, there were Hors D’Oeuvres, Champagne, sample of DVF perfume and DJ Jose spinning on top of all that. It was soooo much fun and all the people at DVF were soooo nice!!! But before I go post photos of the event, I am sharing with you what I got at DVF (okay, only because I’m slacking and I haven’t downloaded the rest of the photos from last night, lol). It has been my annual tradition every Fashion’s Night Out to get…

…the Fashion’s Night Out tee! Since the first FNO in 2009, I made sure to get the official FNO shirt each and every year. Not only does it serve as my souvenir but 40% of the proceeds go to charity (different organizations each year). And what I love about it? High fashion designers collaborate to design the FNO tee but the price is definitely way too cheap (at $25). You can see my 2009 FNO tee here and the 2010 FNO tee here. Now, here’s my 2011 FNO tee that I bought at DVF…

And the great thing about getting it at DVF? The free gift with ANY purchase. I was actually surprised when the SA handed me a cosmetic/pencil case because I know that at other stores, a minimum of $100, $150 or even $1,000 worth of purchase is needed to get the free gift they are giving away during Fashion’s Night Out! So I was surprised that DVF was handing a free gift with ANY purchase. I was in luck! 🙂

Now how cute is that cosmetic case? I have been wanting to replace my Carlos Falchi cosmetic case for the longest time and this is just perfect! And it even has Diane Von Furstenberg’s signature lip prints! I am totally loving it. And while the S.A. told me it was a cosmetic case, it actually doubles up as a pencil case! When I opened it up, I was surprised to find beautiful red, gray and pink pencils that read, “Love is Life”. Love it!

So how was your FNO? I hope you had fun wherever you celebrated FNO last night! 🙂 Fashion’s Night Out at DVF Dallas was just our first stop! I’ve got more stories and photos coming up. I’ll be a bit busy this weekend but I will try to squeeze in time to post. 🙂
