Tiffany Suite – Inspired Dining Room

It was Christmas season last year when I decided I wanted a Tiffany-themed Christmas complete with all the Tiffany blue decorations throughout the house. It was too late to try to achieve the idea I had in mind. Aside from the fact that it will cost a lot, there was a lot of work to be done in order to do what I had planned. Well sure, I can work on it full time in a matter of days – but that’s if I wasn’t doing anything else. So this Holiday 2012, if time and budget permits, I am planning to do a Tiffany theme for Christmas. And to do that, I have to start early! You wanna know why? Part of the plan involves revamping the dining room and turning it into a sort of replica of the famous Tiffany Suite at the St. Regis hotel in New York. Wanna see? It involves personalized address plaques!

Well, you know me, I love classy and glam – not just with the clothes and accessories I wear but with everything else including my home. And this Tiffany Suite at the St. Regis hotel is exactly what I love for my dining room – the Tiffany blue paint, the white molding, the mirrored buffet table that I’ve been lusting for so long, the chandelier, the mirror… oh my!!!

And yes, the Tiffany Suite won’t be complete without those custom address plaques! What am I talking about? Outside the Tiffany Suite, you’ll see this beautiful plaque that looks like those residential address plaques you only see in beautiful mansions! I want one, not outside my house but in my dining room! Since I’m planning to turn my dining room to a Tiffany Suite-inspired one, I figured I’ll have a plaque customized to read the exact room number and name of the Tiffany Suite and put up as a wall art in the dining room. That way, guests will know where I got the inspiration from. Aside from that, it will be a great conversation piece when entertaining guests. šŸ™‚ What do you think?
