A few weeks ago, I was introduced to Lina Shatara jewelry. She’s got a bold yet simplistic approach to jewelry which gives them flexibility in terms of styling. And that’s what I love about them. Take for example this Tara ring in silver. It’s actually a Lotus ring (that I can also make as a Tulip if I want to, hehe) and would be a perfect complement to dainty and pastel Spring nail colors like the Radiant Orchid I’m wearing along with beautiful floral dresses…
…but you can also think of it as a crowning jewel for an edgier take…
Pile on the rings left and right and wear it with some skinny jeans, moto jacket, statement tees and ankle booties.
Lina Shatara Jewelry
Lina Shatara’s love of travel is what inspired her 2014 collection along with the wealth of visuals (geometric patterns, organic shapes and calligraphy) that boldly influence her designs. Turning sharp yet simplistic pieces into edgy contemporary jewelry has become the DNA of the brand, although not one she is bound to. Every season is about challenging herself creatively. Her use of mixed materials, oxidized metals and matte finishes add elements of surprise to pieces, creating an undeniable unisex appeal. Just take a look at her pieces below and you’ll have to agree with me that her designs are smokin’ hot!
Lina Shatara’s passion for jewelry began at the age of 13 and later on attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) for a formal training. She continued to work behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week as well as Fashion’s Night Out and fashion shows for brands like Oscar de la Renta, Jeremy Scott, and Cushnie et Ochs. In 2011, she officially launched her namesake brand, Lina Shatra. You can visit her website at www.linashatra.com to find out more about the brand and start shopping for her jewelry. If you love the Tara ring that I’m wearing, you can get it here. It also comes in gold and oxidized silver.
Thanks to Lina Shatra for sending me this beautiful Tara ring. It’s now in heavy rotation being worn with my favorite silver and rose gold pieces at the moment. Again, thank you! Follow her on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for the latest updates on her line.
