Holiday Gift Guide for the Kids: Toddlers to Preschoolers

Holiday Gift Guide for Kids Toddlers and Preschoolers, toys

The holidays are upon us. Have you completed your Christmas list yet? Well, I have some fun and educational toys to share with you for today’s Holiday gift guide. I highly recommend choosing toys where the kids can learn at the same time. Wouldn’t it be nice to have them learn something while playing? Below is today’s gift guide for the kids.

Holiday Gift Guide for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Toddlers to Preschoolers are those stages where they are starting to speak and read, learn letters and words, and recognize shapes and colors. The young ones are trying to learn language skills. The older ones are learning more words and beginning to explore more. So help them learn while they’re having fun. This age loves to build and tinker with things. Bright colors and happy toys attract them. Thus, I picked out these toys they are going to love and learn from at the same time.

Lite Poppers™

Just released a few weeks ago is this new STEM 2.0 construction toy by Lite Poppers™.  Lite Poppers are construction with manipulation of parts such as pop, slide, twist and spin abilities. Each kit has a different theme with a relatable story and characters too. What I like about this is that the kid will construct the specific models in the kit. Don’t worry there are instructions included. But he or she can build something else freely based on his or her imagination or interpretation. Another bonus is that each kit can be connected to another kit. So if you buy your kid one now and another later, he/she can combine the two to make something bigger!

So for example, Zef here comes with a 2 in 1 plane ($19.99) that your kid can build on his/her own.

It’s also available on Amazon.

And then it can be combined with the Rocket ($24.99) who comes with the character Fro-Bot. Plus, these kits come with stickers and collectible cards too. Oh and another thing – Lite Poppers has online games that you can let your kids play. I won’t judge if you decide to join in, because I tried playing the Rocket Poppers game and wanted to play more. Haha.

The Rocket is also available on Amazon.

GeoSafari® Jr. My First Telescope

I’ve talked about the GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope in detail here. It’s a great toy to give to ages 4 and up. If the little kiddo on your list seems to be loving the space and moon, or have an eye for wandering and discovering things, this is a fun and educational gift to give. My First Telescope retails for $29.99 and you can get it on Amazon too. And while you’re at it, may I suggest the My First Microscope too? It’s currently on sale for a little under $20.

Learning Resources® A to Z Alphabet Groceries

Learning letters has never been this much fun. This A to Z Alphabet Groceries is a colorful way to teach the kid on your list his/her alphabet. The colorful and realistic groceries provide a fun way to introduce early language skills. Each of the 26 groceries in this box is labeled with a letter, word and a colorful picture. This is a wonderful toy for letter recognition, vocabulary, and will inspire creative role-play. I myself will play with this! Haha. If I had this when I was a kid, I would be one happy kid. I’ll need a toy house or a toy kitchen to accompany this, of course. If you’re starting to teach your kid letters or words, this is perfect. Learning Resources’ A to Z Alphabet Groceries retail for $39.99 and right now you can get 40% off one item with code WISH. There’s also a great offer on toys this holiday season at Target online and this one is included.

Learning Resources® Sweet Shop Building Set

Another great toy  set from Learning Resources is this Sweet Shop Building Set. This toy is such an eye candy, what with the cupcakes and spinning sweets. This set includes colorful lollipops, cupcakes, ice cream cones and more. Your little one will enjoy decorating the sweets with the stickers included. Watch as the delicious treats all spin with the simple twist of the gear handle. Did I mention I want to play with it too? Haha. But really, I would be one happy kid if I had this when I was young. I bet your little princess will enjoy this. Great for ages 4 and up, this Sweet Shop Building Set retails for $39.99. Again, don’t forget to use code WISH for 40% off one item. It’s also currently on major sale at Target online.

I don’t know about you, but I sure think my goddaughter here is learning a thing or two about shapes and building pieces while also recognizing different types of food… starting her early with the cupcakes, of course. ;p
