Entertaining in Style + Copper Cup #16 Cocktail Recipe

Absolut Elyx Vodka Copper Cup #16 Cocktail Recipe

Style has always been a passion of mine and I’d like to think it shows not only with the clothes I wear but throughout my house, all the way to how I serve my food, and how I prepare for hosting family and friends over. I like to entertain in style, and I like to keep it classy. For me, that means a stylish tablescape or buffet table setup, along with delicious drinks served in style. So below, I’m sharing a few tips and a cocktail recipe using the Absolut Elyx Vodka. It’s the world’s first single estate copper crafted luxury vodka that comes in the most stylish bottle! That alone is going to up your hosting game for sure!

Tips for Entertaining in Style

Flowers – if I’m hosting people over, I like to have flowers on the table. They just brighten up a tablescape or buffet setup. You don’t have to spend a lot on these. It can be flowers from your backyard, a bouquet from the grocery, or a pretty arrangement from your local florist. A good alternative to use are fresh fruits too.

Pretty trays – I am addicted to beautiful trays. My husband always teases me when he sees me looking at or picking up another tray at a store. A tray is just a great way to anchor a number of things on your table. So choosing a pretty one will make for a great base in your setup. It also gives that organized, less-cluttered feel.

Matching tabletop pieces – if you’re serving dinner, make sure the dinnerware, serveware, and flatware matches or complement each other. If you’re serving drinks, go for matching barware! Just look at these copper bar tools available at the Absolut Elyx Boutique. Doesn’t #CopperMakesItBetter though? I am absolutely in love with my new bar tools!

Complete bar tools – Speaking of barware, if you love to entertain, then you absolutely need to have a set of bar tools. You’ll be able to create a variety of cocktail drinks with the right tools. But at the same time, they make great decor in a bar, bar cart, or shelf too! Like I said, how pretty are these copper bar tools, right? I’m looking to add more to this collection. I can’t wait to host parties in our new house with these fancy barware. How about you? What are you eyeing at the Absolut Elyx Boutique? Do you know that you can also get this sleek Absolut Elyx Vodka bottle there too? If you haven’t tried it, do something about that now. Every drop of Absolut Elyx is produced using winter wheat grown on one single estate in Southern Sweden, resulting to a high-quality, well-crafted vodka that you’re absolutely going to love.

A signature drink – you have the fancy barware, now you gotta have a signature drink! It’s nice to have a signature cocktail drink that you’ve mastered and something that your people love. Keep the ingredients handy, so it’s always ready to serve when the need arises! Mine is the Illusion Shaker which my friends call the “green drink”. It’s actually a blue cocktail that I discovered at a bar in the beautiful beaches of Boracay. But I adapted it to have more pineapple juice. So my version looks green! However, sometimes the ingredients are hard to find or are out of stock. So I’m thinking that this cocktail recipe that I’m about to share with you will be my next signature drink too. It’s light and refreshing, and is super easy to make. Let me share with you the recipe below.

Copper Cup #16 Cocktail Recipe

  • 3 Parts Absolut Elyx
  • 3 Parts Fresh Passion Fruit Puree/Juice
  • 1 Part Homemade Vanilla Cordial
  • Top Champagne
  • Mint and fresh passion fruit for garnish
  • Crushed Ice

Vessel to Use for this Cocktail: Copper Cup

  1. Fill a cup with crushed ice.
  2. Pour the Absolut Elyx, passion fruit puree or juice, and vanilla cordial into the cup.
  3. Top with champagne.
  4. Garnish with mint and passion fruit.

Wasn’t that easy?

I know passion fruit can be a seasonal fruit. Even my local stores didn’t have passion fruit at this time. But the puree or juice was easy to find at my local grocery store and I can always use mint and a cute straw to decorate it with!

Hope these entertaining tips help you out the next time you’re having people over. And don’t forget to check out the Absolut Elyx Boutique to find some of the best bar tools and stemware. I’m eyeing a lot of things myself. Which one is your favorite?
