This year, Mother’s Day is on May 8th. What’s your best memory to date with your Mom? How are you celebrating her on this special day? I’m sharing some of my favorite memories with her and some gift ideas to give back to the most wonderful woman in our life. Also, there may or may not be a REEDS Jewelers giveaway I’m sharing below. So read on!
The other day, I received this gorgeous bracelet with beautiful charms. They are from Glamulet. I admit, I’m not one who usually wear silver jewelry. I prefer the color gold. But this beautiful bracelet, with its charms, are growing on me. How can you resist the intricate details in these charms especially when they can be a symbol of love and memories?
With back to school coming up and then Fall season shortly after, it’s time for a wardrobe change! It’s time to rethink what’s in your closet: what to keep, donate, sell and throw. And when you’re done with the purge, the more you’ll be able to see what’s missing in your closet. If it’s a statement piece you’re needing, then it’s the perfect time to shop. J. Crew Factory Jewelry Sale is on with $15 statement pieces and it’s only until tomorrow, August 20!
A few weeks ago, I was introduced to a fine jewelry brand called LAGOS. I know I’ve heard about them before but haven’t really checked their products. So off I went to peruse their website and a certain collection caught my eye. Well, there were a couple of collections I actually love, but had a particular liking to the Prism Caviar line.
Hey guys, Joy here. If you are like me who burns a lot of candles, I want to share with you something that will make your love for candles even more interesting. We were recently given the chance to try Jackpot Candles. I chose a cinnamon-scented one, Cinnamon Sensation, perfect for this winter weather we’ve been having for a week now here in Dallas.
I’ve been meaning to share with you the latest news about one of my favorite brands (and perhaps all of ours), Tiffany & Co. Tiffany has designated a new design director, first female design director in the brand’s 177-year history, Francesca Amfitheatrof, trained jeweler and silversmith. I was supposed to join them at a blogger preview last September 3, in time for New York Fashion Week. However, I was arriving in NYC 2 days later. It would have been great to meet and talk to her about the new direction she’s taking and the new Tiffany T collection which I so LOVE!
In her new role as Tiffany’s design director, Francesca Amfitheatrof took the measure of the city—its power, energy and daring—and captured it in the graphic Tiffany T. Born in New York, Tiffany T is an icon for a new era. Amfitheatrof dedicates it to the world’s great cities and the global travelers who gravitate to art and culture—and the edge, where creativity sparks change.
“I wanted to create a symbol for modern life and its relentless energy that flows through New York and drives art and culture around the world,” she says. “This is just the beginning of what I hope to accomplish.”
Now do you understand why I’m so in love with the collection? Those Tiffany T thin bracelets and rings are my absolute favorite because I can stack them all up for a beautiful arm candy! I love what Amfitheatrof has done to this collection. It’s totally fresh and young, but keeping with the elegance Tiffany & Co. is known for.
On October 21st, Tiffany & Co. will host a lively discussion on What’s Modern Now, at a Google+ Hangout with Design Director Francesca Amfitheatrof, model Coco Rocha, Aimee Song of Song and Style and Elle fashion news director, Anne Slowey. These high-profile women will take the pulse of the moment, sharing their expertise in media, fashion and design and reflecting on the wider world of art, style and culture. Participants from around the world will have the opportunity to ask questions, which will be answered during the broadcast.
Hope to see you there: http://bit.ly/TiffanyHangout. Make sure to engage with @TiffanyandCo and follow the hashtag #ShopTheHangout.
Hey guys, Mary Ann here. I’m not a big fan of piling a lot of jewelry but a little bit doesn’t hurt, especially when you have so many gorgeous pieces to drool over. Fragments.com has exactly just that. Fragments is an online shopping site that I recently discovered. With so many pieces to choose from – from fashion jewelry to fine jewelry, it has something for the minimalist as well as the maximalist. I’m going to share with you my top 5 favorites below.
With just $500, Kendra Scott launched a mini jewelry collection out of the spare bedroom in her home back in 2002. Now, Kendra Scott Jewelry has become a household name in the world of accessories. Having partnerships with Oscar de la Renta and Randolph Duke under her belt, not to mention celebrity fans including Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Selena Gomez, Eva Longoria, Molly Sims and Sofia Vergara to name a few, it’s no surprise that the label has become one of the most sought-after today! So imagine my delight as I unwrapped a package (thank you, thank you, thank you) containing Kendra Scott Jewelry from their Summer 2014 Collection. Take a look!
My current jewelry obsession involves this beautiful pair of rhinestone necklace and bracelet. Well, they aren’t exactly a pair but I love wearing them together. They are both from the shop Opaque Lion at ShopLately. And I’m telling you, they have the most affordable yet stylish and high-quality jewelry I’ve seen. Browsing the pieces at Opaque Lion, I was shocked to find statement necklaces as low as $16. And I’m telling you, they look as gorgeous as the photos show!
We’ve talked about the Tiffany Atlas collection here before. But today, we’re talking about the latest additions to the line and how they could be the perfect Mother’s Day gift you are looking for! The new Tiffany Atlas collection has been vastly seen around the blogosphere, what with the beautiful and chic bangles and rings the collection offers among others. I have been in love with mine the moment I saw it and still value it as one of my beloved pieces that works so well with a chic and elegant kind of arm stacking! It has become a resident in my arms and I don’t think it will be any other way! If anything, I want to add more from the Tiffany Atlas collection and below I’m sharing with you the latest additions to the line.
